News about the World's Biggest Pub Quiz

Meet Will. He's a bespoke cartoon character, created as the face of the World's Biggest Pub Quiz, an event to be held on 25 March 2010 in pubs and venues all around the UK as a fundraiser for the Family Holiday Association.

Will's becoming a star, featuring on the event website, t-shirts, and posters advertising the event.

Designer Nick Vincent, of Vincent Design, came up with the idea of a bespoke cartoon character after taking on the branding of the event as a pro-bono project. Cartoonist Jamie Sale quickly jumped on board and developed the character of Will.

Event organiser Jacqulyn Bell said, "As soon as Nick showed us his idea of using a cartoon character, we loved the idea. He approached Jamie for us, who did an amazing job creating Will from our brief.

"Will comes across as a friendly, approachable guy - and someone that would be happy to support a charity and help organise a fun event such as the World's Biggest Pub Quiz.

"We hope he encourages a lot of people to get behind the charity and their local pub and get involved."
